Our Vets
Dr Gemma Coulter BVSc MANZCVS (Canine & Feline Internal Medicine) – Surgery & Medicine
Growing up in the local area, I first started working in a vet clinic as a kennel hand when I was a young girl; cleaning kennels and walking the dogs. Over 20 years later, and the joy of working with animals has not lost its magic. Following graduation as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Melbourne in 2007, I have worked in general practice continuously ever since. In my previous role as the owner of a busy veterinary hospital, I supervised the medical & surgical cases of our 6 veterinarians along with my own patients, and have undertaken significant post graduate study over several years. This culminated in being admitted by examination as a member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in the field of Canine & Feline Internal medicine.
Working as a vet at VDSC, and providing a local house call service, I am able to provide your family pets with comprehensive care, from routine vaccinations to advanced surgery. I am able to offer a tailored approach to your pet’s medical care as their friendly and experienced personal physician.
I am very privileged to work with this very talented and experienced group of vets. At the VDSC, we look after all our patients as if they are our own.
